The Beat has some fantastic coverage up right now which included some early details about the movie adaptation of Grant Morrison’s We3 comic book. You know, the one featuring the cute animals that also double as attack robots for the government.

Such a fantastic idea could only come from confirmed vegetarian Morrison. The animals turn the tables on their oppressors indeed.

You’ll recall we listed We3 as a graphic novel to read early in the week when we posted on Grant Morrison penning a movie adaptation of the video game Area 51.

Essentially what has occurred is that someone has taken a peek at a draft of the script and posted their responses to it on a site called film ick.

The movie sounds fantastic and sounds heavily based on the comic. Pro Vegitarian stance and all.

Take our advice buy this graphic novel of We3 ASAP and read it. You’ll be hearing a lot more about it soon, and you should be informed before all the hipster kids think they discovered it first.
